Baker Tilly International Limited (Baker Tilly International) is a limited liability company incorporated in England and Wales. It is owned by its members, all of whom own an equal share in the legal entity. Services to clients are provided by the members of Baker Tilly, each of which is an independent, locally owned and managed firm. Each governs itself and manages its administrative affairs locally, and is responsible for its own liabilities.<\/p>

The rights and obligations of Baker Tilly member firms are set forth in the bylaws and in the individual agreements that each firm signs prior to joining Baker Tilly International.<\/p>

The network is governed by the Board of Directors, supported by a Global Office team.<\/p>

To facilitate communication, coordination of actions and sharing of best practices, Baker Tilly International is divided into four regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Asia Pacific, North America and Latin America, each supported by a regional advisory board.<\/p>

Latin America has become one of the most attractive regions in the world for doing business and attracting international investment.<\/p>

The continent is extraordinarily rich in the production of raw materials, energy sources and food products, all sectors that have been affected by the current conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A fact that highlights the importance of the region is that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Latin America and the Caribbean increased by 55.2% between 2021 and 2022, reaching US$224.579 billion, the highest value since the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has been keeping records. FDI to the region had not exceeded US$200 billion since 2013.<\/p>
